Frequently Asked Questions
How many adjuster settings does the 8975 have?
Both compression and rebound have 40 clicks of adjustment. Compression offers around 150 lbs of adjustment range, while rebound varies depending on the type of valving (typically 250–400 lbs).
What is the difference between the 8975 and the 8300?
While both are double-adjustable, the 8975 has limited stroke options due to the in-line nitrogen reservoir. This design reduces the available stroke by approximately 1” to 1.75”, depending on the application.
How much lighter is the 8975 compared to a similar remote reservoir shock?
The 8975 can weigh anywhere from 0.5 lbs to a full 1 lb less than a comparable remote double-adjustable shock, depending on the model.
