Housing Ends Application
Are you building a new Ford 8.8 rear end or modifying an existing housing that needs to be narrowed? Strange Ford 8.8 housing ends are machined from 8620 forged chrome moly steel and made in the USA. These premium grade housing ends will work with the Ford 8.8 OEM tubes or aftermarket tubes up to 3 1/4″.
Strange’s Ford 8.8 housing ends are black oxide coated and provide an optimal mounting surface for the brake calipers to remain in proper alignment with the axle bearing. These weld-on housing ends have a 3.150 bearing and are sold as a pair. They are designed to be butt welded to the tubes with the proper equipment. An alignment bar is required to properly install any housing ends.
